 Hooper, T, McKinney, Feb 2000, "I bought my RoboCut 6 or 7 years ago to cut my young son's hair -- I really like the way it cuts the hair a nice, precisely even length all over, even on a squirming kid (try that with scissors!). I now use it on his younger brother as well. Last year I decided I wanted to change my shoulder length "page-boy" hair to something more layered (kind of a short, Jennifer-Aniston-like style) and thought that if the RoboCut would cut it 8 inches all over, that would do it. I only had the two range-extender tubes, so I rigged up an extension with a section of plastic shampoo bottle of approximately the right diameter (with bandaids to hold it on!). The cut turned out great! Here's the kicker: when I visited my sister shortly thereafter, she noticed my hair and told me that she had been cutting her own hair, but that she ought to break down and GO GET A PROFESSIONAL CUT LIKE MINE! She was shocked and surprised to hear it was a "Robo cut". Too bad I didn't know about this web site earlier, or I would have gotten her one for last Christmas. Maybe this year. Anyway, I'm tired of dealing with my plastic-tube-and-bandaid extension, so please send me two additional genuine robocut range extenders.

When I first saw a package of Robocut, I knew I had to have one because it was what I was always looking for. I know that that sounds corny, but I'm serious.I don't tell people about Robocut, although I wish I could because I think it's great. People make fun of this type of product. Basically, you cannot make a mistake, and it cuts hair very precisely (preciseness is what you have to be in computer science). I am a perfectionest, and I like getting hair cuts that are precise. You just cannot get that in a salon because of plain human error. I do have one tiny gripe (not really a gripe) about Robocut. I think that you should come up with some type of device to shave the bottom part of the neckline. That's one thing that you can't get from Robocut. If I were to try and shave my neckline with one of those "shaver thingies", there's no way I could do it right because I can't see in the back of my head.
